It follows the dying crew of a shipwrecked space freighter, the Tulpar. Captain Curly is now being blamed for the crash and with their supplies running low, many have taken their fates into their own hands. Sadly for his men, not everyone has succeeded in ending their lives. Now maimed, limbless and unable to speak, Curly is at the mercy of his crew, doomed to die slowly.

This game follows the lives of the isolated and starving crew of the Tulpar. It is a single-player adventure game played in the first person perspective with a mix of survival and combat mechanics. It has also been described as a walking simulator due to the explorable world. It has a nonlinear narrative, meaning that the game takes place in the weeks and months before the crash and following the crash itself. The time jumps are often used to mimic the glitches or crashes that have happened on the ship. When in the time before the crash, the players can follow Curly's perspective and see his actions leading up to the crash, while the post crash scenes follow the perspective of the ex co-pilot Jimmy, who takes on the role of captain in Curly's absence
