Subject: Monday July 13th New Hires - Please Read
Hi – I am hoping all of you can assist me in ensuring our new hires are off to a great start on Monday. As you can see from the list below, I will be very busy (7 new hires) and with your help, everything will go smooth and according to plan.
Please assist me by contacting your new hires and requesting the following:
1) Ask them to return their signed offer letter. They can email it to me at [email protected] or fax to 503-350-5505
2) Tell them what time to show up for their shift.
3) Remind them to complete their onboarding documents before they arrive on Monday. (I can’t hire them unless their documents are done)
4) Remind them to bring in their ID. I can use their passport or two other pieces of ID. Most commonly used are drivers licenses, Government issued ID Card and Social Security or Birth Certificate….Please note, you can’t tell them which ID to present, but you can give them these examples and direct them to page 9 of the I9 document they need to complete with their onboarding documents. (I can start, but can’t complete their hire if they do not have ID)
5) Have them come to HR at the time below. Please, have them here on time –so we don’t run into the next person’s time.
