Every 18 months, McKinsey holds a competition in which consultant and knowledge professional temas (with support from partner) develop and present innovative insights, capabilities, and solutions that can help our clients address their emerging challenges and opportunities. The firm-wide competition is judged by a panel of senior McKinsey partners. The article below is based on an entry that received a special mention at the June 2012 Practice Olympics competition, held in Barcelona.
