Sectionals can be a great option for seating and are easier to move around than sofas. However, there are certain things to keep in mind when purchasing a sectional. First, make sure it's appropriate for the space you're furnishing. Draw a layout and measure the dimensions of the room. Be sure to ensure that the sectional doesn't hinder the flow of traffic within the room.
A sectional should be spacious enough to accommodate family and friends however, it shouldn't be large enough that people fall over one another trying to sit down or walk around.
