Three Wheel Buggies

A three-wheel pram offers great maneuverability and agility. Choose one with a swivelling front wheel that can rotate 360 degrees and be controlled easily using just one hand.

A reliable three-wheeled buggy can be a single at birth, with a carrycot, and then expand to take two (or more!) As your family grows, you can adapt the buggy to accommodate more children. It should also feature the comfort of a comfortable, flat, certified sleeping space and air filled tyres that are suitable for all-terrain adventure.

Air-filled tyres

Air-filled tyres (also known as pneumatic tyres) are similar to the ones you have on your car, and designed to give your baby an easy ride over bumps and uneven surfaces. These tyres are ideal for jogging, and also taking your buggy off-road. They are also less likely to puncture or damage than tyres made of solid foam.

Air-filled rubber tyres make them more flexible than other tires. The air in the tyres acts as a shock absorber to protect your child's ride. The flexibility of the tyres also allows them to conform to the surface, which results in more grip. This is particularly important when your buggy is driven on rough terrain or in wet conditions.

Some tyres have a puncture-proof coating, which means you won't need to worry about flat tires. However, tyres still need to be inflated from time to time. Always carry an air pump and spare inner tube with you in case of an emergency.

It can turn at a moment's notice and speed down narrow streets. It's lightweight, which makes it easy to steer and maneuver with one hand.

A good 3-wheeled buggy should have a lockable wheel on the front, which is important...
