<p> Mr. Mutono Mugalya Roman is the General Secretary Board and Founder of Akebulan.
Whenever we talk about this young man, sometimes we feel that the words used are not enough or perfect to describe or show the passion,
care, and love he has for vulnerable children, and how he loves seeing vulnerable people acquiring the capacity to sustain themselves.
Roman is a hardworking, self-motivated, responsible person able to work as part of a team at own initiative. He formed up Akebulan in year
2007 with four children in his home providing them accommodation, education and other basic needs which have transformed their lives.
He is currently acting as a parent and guardian for ten vulnerable children who stay in his home. He is a talented young business man
with an experience of twenty years in business.</p>
<p id="showhidetext"> Roman started working for his uncle to get school fees and basic needs at his
early age of eight years. He is a creative and innovative administrator who does not need to be told what to do. He has worked with
Akebulan from day one and he continues to put in the little he earns to make sure that children and other vulnerable persons receives
basic care and feel loved. He loves seeing children achieve what he couldn't in his early childhood, things like education which he was
denied by his guardians, inheritance, love, care and other basic needs. He is committed to preventing early pregnancy and pregnancy outside
of marriage. Roman was born out of marriage which gave him many challenges and made life hard in his early childhood. He is not able to tell
who his biological father is.</p>
