The concept is that when rotating to another angle or direction, it's hard to tell how the object should rotate in. Sometimes it's one way sometimes its the closes angle to get to that specific direction. Sometimes a tilt is needed sometimes not. That's why rotation has a few apis to handle different ways to rotate.
