ADHD Medication - A Guide to Prescription and Non Prescription ADHD Medication
ADHD medication can help manage hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. There are two types of ADHD medications: stimulants and non-stimulants.
In Europe and the UK stimulants are the most common ADHD drugs prescribed. They include methylphenidate (including Ritalin), and amphetamines salts.
GPs are advised to keep the prescribed amount for 28 days and not increase the dosage during the supply disruption. GPs are also advised to think about alternative products that are bio-equivalent.
