Charging 3DR Solo Smart Batteries

All graph data was taken directly off the batteries SMBus port (top/3rd connector on battery). All data was gathered in 30 second intervals. The reported battery percentage is apparently a bit inaccurate at the end of the charge in all cases. Where it reports 94/95% full at the end of the charge, reconnecting the battery after it disconnects itself from the charger is actually 99/100% full respectively. The voltage levels and amps were correctly reported throughout the charge cycle. I had an external voltmeter and ammeter connected to the output of the charger(s) in addition to the data logging and they checked out within a few tenths of a mV/mA.

The first/top graph is using the stock 3DR Solo battery charger. It's a 16.8V/3.3A charger.
This battery started off with a 11% (14.91V) charge level. It's had 23 charging cycles on it (according to the battery data). This charger took 2:03 to charge the battery.

The second graph is using a CC/CV power supply set at 16.8V/6A.
This battery started off with a 10% (15.07V) charge level. It's had 20 charging cycles on it (according to the battery data). This charger took 1:35 to charge the battery, which was surprising. I was expecting a bit faster since it was almost 2x the amps.

They were fairly close in charge cycles and charge levels, so I think they were pretty good for a comparison. You can right click and drag to zoom in, and left click to reset the zoom level.
